Marti Stone Photography

Marti Stone is a photographer based in Rockport, Maine. She is best known for her images of people and her photo-essays about children, community and the arts. Her style is informal and she uses natural light and outdoor settings whenever possible. Her photography appears regularly in the local media and in publications supporting youth and the arts in the greater Midcoast area.

How to Find Your Photos

If you or your child have been photographed for a newspaper, an online story or in association with an organization or performing arts event, you may see the photos and/or purchase prints by clicking here. Albums are organized alphabetically and may be preceded by an abbreviation for the supporting organization. For example, if your child was photographed at a YMCA camp, the album will be labeled “Ycamp” . If you don’t see your album, look for more detail, i.e. “Ykindercamp” or email for more information.

Portraits

Marti takes private portraits of babies, children and teens, including senior pictures. She will travel to your home or preferred location and welcomes families, friends and pets. Non-profit Organizations

Marti works with a number of non-profit organizations concerned with children, community and the arts. Many projects involving children do not result in direct costs to the organization. For more information about your specific project, email martistone@adelphia.net

Productions and Events

Marti is a frequent production photographer for school and community performing arts events. Her unique images of children involved in music, dance and theater, both onstage and off, are very popular with parents. In most cases there are no direct costs to the supporting arts organization, but notice is required well in advance of performance dates.
Marti does not accept bookings for formal or studio photography. She occasionally attends private group events in order to document candid moments.

Ordering Information

Marti uses Shutterfly, an online service, for all printing. Proofs are generally available within 48 hours of the photoshoot. Prints are available in color and black-and-white in all sizes and will arrive at your home by US mail about a week after you place an order. Password-protected web galleries are available for portraits and other private work.
